Ingredients
Grease a 8x4 loaf pan
1/3 cup Branon Family Maple Orchards maple syrup
3 T canola oil
1 t vanilla
1/2 t salt
2 cups ripe bananas mashed
1 1/2 c whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 c whole wheat bread flour
2 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Combine maple syrup, canola oil, vanilla and banana in a bowl
In a separate bowl sift and combine flours, baking soda, baking powder, salt
Gentle mix wet and dry ingredients together
Fold in nuts
Sprinkle some chopped nuts on top of bread
Bake in oven 45 minutes to one hour
Insert a toothpick into bread until it comes out clean
Try not to over bake, it will get dry
